The Barber Bootcamp is a professional training program tailored for Hairstylists and Barbers seeking to refine their skills in the core aspects of barbering.

Offering a comprehensive blend of practical and theoretical instruction, specific to the requirements established by Alberta Industry and Training.

Participants will gain hands-on experience within an authentic barbershop environment while simultaneously revisiting essential theoretical concepts.

This program is ideal for individuals seeking to prepare for the Alberta Licensed Journeyman Barber theory and practical examinations.

  • I have never cut hair, can I take this course?

    You must currently be cutting hair as a barber or hairstylist in a shop environment in order to enroll. Individuals with zero experience please refer to the Masters in Barbering 

  • How much experience is required for the Straight Razor Shave workshop?

    You do not need to have any experience with a Straight Razor. 

  • Do I need to bring anything for the workshop?

    You will need to bring the following tools: Clippers, Trimmers, #1 and #2 Cutting Guards, Shears, Texturizing Shears, Spray Bottle, Blow Dryer, Brushes, Combs, and Cutting Cape.


    2 Mannequins will be provided to you upon arriving to campus. 


    Barber tools are available for purchase at the Academy. Please contact us for more information.

  • Are equipment upgrades avaible?

    We are offering a "Mini Barber Toolkit" specific to the Barber Bootcamp


    This includes BabylissPro LOPROFX Cordless Clipper, BabylissPro LOPRO FX Cordless Trimmer,  BabylissPro Double Foil Shaver, Straight Razor, Shaving Brush, and Shaving Bowl

  • What models are required?

    Canada School of Barbering offers free services to the public, this ensures your time spent on the floor you will have a steady flow of models coming in to perfect your skills while on campus

  • What time are class hours?

    Class hours are Monday - Friday from 10:00 am - 5:30 pm

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

    After paying the enrollment fee to secure your seat,  the remaining balance will be due two weeks before the start date.



    We accept E-Transfer, PayPal,  and Credit Card payments.
